One of The Best Days. . . so far!

Chunk & I went to the dedication of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple today.

It was amazing, beautiful, extraordinary, and rendered me speechless many times!
And reasons i will remember it forever are:

1. Kelly & I sat in a sealing room together to watch and participate.

2. It was President Monson's 82nd birthday. What a cool day to be there!

3. The spirit was overwhelmingly strong.

4. Being there inside the temple answered a pressing question that Kelly & I had on our minds.

5. President Uchtdorf conducted!!!

6. Made me love these guys infinitely more!!!
Isn't that what the gospel is all about? Especially the temple? Forever Families.

One thing I wanted to mention is that 3 times, the speakers said that the First Presidency is asking members to replace leisure time with temple attendance. So instead of going to the Jazz game, you go to the temple. Take out the TV watching and go to the temple. Just get yourselves to the TEMPLE!!!

Now that I have a baby, my plans for going to the temple quite often have gone out the door, but that won't stop me from getting there as often as I can. :) The temple is such an amazing place of peace, solitude and enlightenment, I wish I could get everyone to go there.

It was even better being there with Kelly. It made the experience that much sweeter and endearing to me. It was just an amazing experience that I really didn't want to come home - except I had to feed the baby. . . and oh, yeah and I have other kids! LOL!!!

What a great, fabulous amazing day!

What an amazing day! (We went today)
I am completely overwhelmed and loving it.
Cam and I recently started a temple competition. He is good at going anyway, but i think in trying to keep up with him is really going to work for me in going, going, going!

Ane, what a cool experience to be sitting in the sealing room for that. And Happy Birthday to cute Pres. Monson!
