Our ward was personally invited this morning to a sneak peak of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House - - and you should get tickets and TOTALLY GO!!!!
My boys were so excited! They loved everything about the temple. It's done in gold hues and evergreen greens - so pretty. It also features a grand staircase with a chandelier that is just beautiful! You can almost reach out and touch it. Be sure to check out the stars etched into the glass in the upper levels of the temple. (side note: The sealing rooms are the same color as my basement! We must be so inspirational LOL!!) And because I'm so "encumbered" we got to ride a golf cart to our car in the the parking lot - - I think the boys would tell you that that was their favorite part!! LOL!!
It's absolutely beautiful! I feel so lucky to live so close to this temple!! I hope everyone can go!!

I totally wish I could go! Great things are happening for me here. Rhen has been way super supportive and we've gone to our ward here twice :) ... (actually it's the wrong ward, but I think we'll stay there, because one - we know where it is and two - I feel comfortable there and we're already meeting some great people.
The missionaries were out there yesterday and when they delivered their message to Rhen, they did it in Tagalog, which was perfect because I feel like she would understand that alot better and it left me to totally bask in the spirit!
Even Rhen wants to be closer as a family and pray at night, and she want me to take on that responsibility, which is totally awesome for me eh :)
Also Reggie has been so happy since we've been going to church, it has been amazing, and I think it has been so great for the family! I'm seeing miracles in just the little bits we have done, and it's all thanks to Rhen's support :)

YES!!! I finally have a way of keeping up with my next door neighbor! :) Found your blog through Walkers. Hope you don't mind me keeping tabs on ya now! ;) Good luck the next 3 weeks. I am always up to brining dinner over, helping with kids, holding newborns when you need a quick shower, whatever! Love- Ali (the neighbor you rarely see!)
