We are *this* close to finishing our basement. In the meantime, we've decided to retile the upstairs bathrooms and laundry room. (Yes, I know. We are insane and live in like 3 rooms in our house right now! But when all is said and done, we'll have a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with TONS of space! yay!!)
Anyways, our main bathroom is totally torn apart - toilet in the tub, everything taken of the walls for new paint, you get the idea - and we have only one toilet now.
Brady starting complaining about how hard this is, having only one potty we can use. This is so hard! We have to take turns and wait for everyone.
So, my fellow friends and bloggers, do you remember the day? I kindly reminded Brady growing up in my house, we had ONE BATHROOM for 8 people. . . yes 8 and 3 of them were girls/and mom. And Chunk of course, had ONE BATHROOM for 7 people, 3 of which were girls/and mom.

But let me tell you! I am TOTALLY Grateful for 2 bathrooms. I have to realize that when my kids grow up they'll tell stories of how we ONLY had 2 bathrooms and not a bathroom for everyone in the house or something! lol. I know I'm spoiled and I'm thankful for it... just not as thankful on the days when we have to scrub those toilets and it's 3 boys to 1 girl fanny at our house. Yick!

I know how it is because with my family, it was one bathroom for 6 people, FIVE of them girls! I think Brady will make it...
Yea, I don't like cleaning the potty with all these boys around. They are going to have to start doing it themselves.... and we have 4 bathrooms!

We are blessed to have two bathrooms. The only problem is that all three of my kids are afraid to use the one in the basement(the boogey man might get them). I leave the bathroom cleaning to Shane.
I am with you on the YICK part! My family was lucky, we had two bathrooms. One for my parents and one for us. But to even it out, that was one bathroom for 5 girls. And later on, one boy too. That was a challenge! I guess that is when you learn (or why I should say) to put make up on in your bedroom or somewhere else! I would DIE if I had to share ONE with as many people as you and Jody/Kelly. That would REALLY REALLY SUCK!!!!! And Jody's & Kelly's is not even big enough that two people would be in there getting ready at the same time!
