Meg Inspired Post :)

We've been American Idol watchers since season 2! (yes, can you believe it?) And only twice, from the very first auditions have I picked singers that I was all ready sold on and became my "horses" through *nearly* the entire elimination race.

First : CHRIS DAUGHTRY

When he went in for his audition, I was like, "Chunk, I really like him! I hope he goes far." And mr. talented did!! So I was shocked like the rest of the world that he was voted off into 4th place - i guess I should've had my own cell phone to text back then - but I voted for him every week! But you know someone has got pure, natural talent when their records have sold more albums than any other Idol winner (including season 4 winner Carrie Underwood!)

except for Kelly Clarkson!! GO DAUGHTRY!! (see why I like the name lol)

Second: David Cook

Although my two neighbors and some young women have extremely close ties with David Archuleta - I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, David Cook when he came in and belted out "Livin on Prayer" by Bon Jovi!! He was my boy! and when he started mixing up Billy Jean and Always be my baby, I WAS SOLD!!! Although he's not my first fav like Daughtry, I still am a David Cook fan.

Here we are - Season 8. . . and there's only 1 person that stood out to me in the audition round - and Meg I'm totally jumping on your bandwagon - -

DANNY GOKEY!!!
He may have had a nerd vibe about him, but at least he can REALLY SING! And he totally saved the night last night! (did those people REALLY make it through hollywood? someone send my apologies to David Osmond! freak!) The only girl I liked was Alexis Grace, although I don't really approve of the whole sob-story vibe they try to sell with her name. But if Tatiana Del Toro goes, I will happily watch the rest of the season. She's crazy, she's a drama queen and I feel bad she's tarnished such a great name!
