The Unbelieveable Misadventures of Miss Ane

I'm sitting here staring at the clock because I can't believe it's only 10am!! I am soooo tired!! and here's why. . .
Yesterday, our friend came over to paint our basement. (Yipee!) The only bad thing is the fumes! And me being all prego, the smell was giving me severe headaches. So I left twice just to get outside. . . which, have you seen the air outside?? I don't know which is worse! LOL!!

Anyways, Chunk is out of town for work this week. The smell was getting so bad that I knew I couldn't stay in the house for the night. My mom was planning on coming over to see Brady for his birthday and simply said, "come and meet me."

OK! So I drive the kids over to Target first (I promised Brady he could spend his birthday money first) before we met my mom. We get finished and get out to my car... and it won't start. Yes, Gumby - piece of crap car - won't start! I'm like oh my heck, seriously?
So I call my mom, "mom, i think my car needs a jump. Come over to Target."

So mom comes to Target, we jump the car and it starts up fine. So my mom says " you can't stay at your place tonight, come stay at my place." I'm like. . . um. . . ok. . . (my mom lives up by the University of Utah. It was cheaper than staying at Motel 6! :) )
So we drive back to my house to pick up overnight stuff and I leave the car running. We're in the house for 10 minutes, I hop in my car, turn the headlights on. . . and it DIED!! RIght there!! I'm like, NO WAY!!!

So we had to take my mom's car (cuz chunk has our other car) to her house and spend the night.
The kids didn't go to bed until after 9 and then Brady kept waking up. I kept waking up to pee and couldn't go back to sleep. . . (Yes, don't you LOVE those nights!)
So wiggly Brady climbs in bed with me and now I can't sleep even MORE! and I think I fell asleep at 4am.

I didn't realize we needed to get my mom to work by 7am so we all got up at 6:30am, bundled up into the car to get my mom to work on time. . .
And then rush home to get the kids cleaned up and fed before school starts. . . and now. . .
I wish I could take a nap, but the electrical guys are here! *sigh* What's a girl to do? :)

I think I'll sit in Chunk's recliner, tilt it back a little and try to doze off for a while. Maybe I could paint eyes on my eyelids so it looks like I'm awake. Anyways, if I'm uber grumpy today, that's why :).
