OH MY GOSH!!! IT HAPPENED!!! IT finally HIT me today that my baby boy is growing up soooooo fast!!
I went to Missionary Emporium to find some baptism items that I would need for Saturday. So, I'm browsing, minding my own business, and I see the Willow tree collection. There's cute moms & babies and angels - and all of the sudden a horrific sight blinds my eyes! This tender statue called "Mother & Son" nearly assaults me!! It was an awful reminder that I'm OLD and Brady is getting soooo big!!! I started to cry, right there in Missionary Emporium! *how embarrassing* Luckily, there was only one employee there and I ran to the back where the pillow cases were and wiped my eyes & nose on it. . . lol - ok that's an exaggeration. But I did go and hide until I stopped!!!! Oh it's crazy!! I've been asked to sing at Brady's baptism and honestly, I don't know how I'm going to do it!!! I'm starting to realize how fast time flies and how your kids don't stay little for long. Brady even had his first cub scouts experience and LOVED it! Poor Colby is aching to turn 8 in 17 months now. But he's being a good sport.
So there you have it. My moment of enlightenment today.

Those Willow Tree things make me sob too. I got one when I was pregnant with Dane. It's a mom holding a newborn.
I've got the family of four as a Christmas ornament.
That Mother and Son statue, though, I don't blame you at all.
Don't get me started in sobbing over everything. Brenner gets very upset when I cry and says, "Mom, don't cry again." It's the pregnancy.
I love the willow tree stuff. I have always wanted the nativity, but it's too expensive. Then my brother who just got married got it with his registry, so I was so jealous. So, he gave me a mother with two boys for my birthday! That was the most thoughtful gift ever. It was just perfect!
