Brady earned his Arrow of Light the SAME day my Grandpa earned his Eagle Scout award 69 years ago! My Grandpa passed away in 2003 but I know how proud of Brady he would be and he'd tell him all about how the day he earned his Eagle, was the same day Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. My Grandpa joined the navy after that and after returning from Navy service, met my grandma, got married and then left on his mission. (can you imagine how long THOSE 2 years must've felt!) And after his mission came home and they started their lives & family together.
Oh. Now I miss my grandpa! & grandma of course :)
