You know it's never good when your doctor's office calls YOU and initiates contact! eeeegad!
The bad news: I flunked the diabetic screening. Yes the horrid orange liquid drink (Sunkist, it's NOT) that made me nearly vomit as I had to sit around waiting for someone to draw my blood for an hour . . yes, i flunked it. .
But it was barely, I guess I needed 40 or lower to pass and mine was 45.
The good news: My iron levels are way up. (how that happens when I live only on carbs is a mystery to me!)
The ugly news: I have to go back in - drink the horrid orange stuff again - and have my blood drawn 4 times!! 4 times!! ugh!!
Anyone else been this lucky? If so, I could use some good advice - more like a good pep talk! :)

ew! I had to go in for the second testing too. It totally sucked. I layed in a bed for 2 hours, not allowed to do anything except sip that nasty stuff. They actually gave me stuff that was even more sugar concentrated and tasted even worse. There's no pep talking that I can provide. It just sucked. HAVE FUN!!
The real purpose of this "test" is to prep us for when we're 50 and have to down that nasty colon cleasing stuff:)Not looking forward to it...ever.
I haven't but oh, my sympathies! I hate that stuff. It's the second worse thing about being pregnant.
Recovery from birth is the first for me.
