So first off - I have to say how OLD Kelly & I are getting since New Year's Eve was the night he proposed to me 11 YEARS AGO!!! (yes, you read that correctly). So I posted our yearbook pictures of what we could've looked like since I can't find the REAL engagement pixs right now :).
I'm so excited and optimistic about this year!! There are many exciting things for us to look forward too.
I'm so excited and optimistic about this year!! There are many exciting things for us to look forward too.
1 - THE BABY!! arriving in June 2009 ... only 5 1/2 more months...and I'm hoping to find out the sex on Tues at my appt!!
2 - Colby's Baptism - which seemed like light years ago only a short time ago! Not only that but he'll get to start cub scouts which he is VERY excited about.
3 - Our basement is almost finished!!! YAY!!
Kelly is talking about going back to school to get his Bachelor's in Computer Science/Bus. Management. I was going to start some classes this year, but guess what? No time now!
We "MIGHT" be getting a dog for the boys & family this year. . . but we'll see how that goes.
I'm also very excited to still be in Young Womens! My Laurels at this point, were my Beehives so many years ago and 2 of them will turn 18 this year. I was reading my journal about all the experience I've had since I was called to YW's and it was such a neat, revealing, spiritual journey for myself. It was so fun!! Now I'm hoping to stay in until my new Beehives become my Laurels! :) yeah!!!!! I've grown so much that it's fun to read back the things I've done & experienced.
Brady will be 9 on the 19th. Which means 3 more years he'll be a DEACON!!! I know 3 years is a long time, but look how fast he turned 9! I can't believe it. I remember when I turned 10 because i was in the double digits and a 4th grader. . . I dunno. It's all very surreal to me. I don't feel a day older than 20, how can I have a 9 year old at home!!
I've just felt so good today - despite the fact I've been so very sick for so long - and maybe it's my new optimism about a good year coming for us. :).
