Genessy Luck has STRUCK AGAIN!

Yes. This is me.
Yes. This is me sporting a wrist brace.
Yes, this is me, sporting a wrist brace THE DAY BEFORE I LEAVE FOR YOUTH CONFERENCE!!

I know! unbelievable!! But haven't you heard of the Genessy Curse/Genessy Luck?? Well, now you have ;) You can watch out for it.

THE STORY:
Our AC hasn't been working since yesterday and Chunk thought we needed to check the filter in the HVAC system. (Chunk is in Cedar City this week for work) So, Chunk is walking me through it and I'm struggling to get the panel doors off. I'm yankin! I'm pullin'! NUTTIN.
Then Chunk says, "You just slide it up. You don't have to pull on it." SO i think - ok that's easy.

I guess I put a little too much She-ra woman super strength into this, because I pulled so hard, the top panel came off with the bottom panel. They both just popped off and crash landed right smack on my wrist!!
It hurt like ************************************* *(insert your favorite profanity here)
So I take myself to the doctor, all the while I'm moaning & crying and the kids are crying because I hurried them so much they don't have shoes on - - mom of the year award right there! lol - -. The doc takes X-rays. He says luckily it's not broken, but it's swollen and I "whacked it" - -Dr's proffessional explanation of this - - really good.
So I have to wear the brace to support my wrist for 7 DAYS!!! Meanwhile, we leave tomorrow morning at 7:30am for Bear Lake for swimming & water skiing & such - which I was AND STILL AM SUPER EXCITED FOR!!! So thank you Tandy for letting me borrow your waterproof (mostly lol) brace so i can go waterskiing!!!

I can't wait to post our pix from Youth Conference because it will be SUPER fuN!
